MA, General Psychology from The Catholic University of America
BA, Psychology from Wilkes University
Originally from Pennsylvania, I received my BA in Psychology, with a minor in Neuroscience, from Wilkes University. Following this, I spent from May 2012-August 2013 as a Residential Counselor at Step By Step, Inc., a non-profit agency providing community support services to adults with chronic mental illness in Northeast PA. Leaving Pennsylvania to pursue my education further, I made the DC metro area my home. I began working part-time as a Companion with Help in the Home in 2014, while continuing to earn my Masters. Upon graduation, I was thrilled to continue working with HITH full time as a Care Coordinator. I highly value the flexible, individualized and caring support that HITH is able to provide to clients. I believe in a collaborative and largely adaptive approach in working with adults with mental illness, developing a relationship that works best for the individual.
